These are works from both my college works at Steadman Studios and my internship time at 8 Days a Week, I have worked on a wide range of sounds and genres such as hard rock, metal, jazz, country, and even more classical music like vocal ensembles and low brass choir.
8 Days a Week
This project I had no specific responsibilities, general assisting in the recording process, mic placement, and troubleshooting to allow the others to complete work more fluidly.
Dissolve – Erik Novroski
This project I was more responsible for the miking if the drum set, tracking what preamps were being used for what instrument, and slight production help such as getting to engineer a few overdubs myself, and talking about which takes were best. This session lasted three days tracking around 9 songs.
Jumble – Lewie Land
On this project I helped set up and tune the drums, took care of mic placement and preamp tracking. We did a few songs this day so I also roughly helped produce.
Whiskey lyin – Marc Livin
Steadman Studios
I fully engineered this track and helped with production of the writing style.
Bloody Paws (demo) – Tim
This was a live recital I had recorded in the Steadman Auditorium, consisting of a trombone quartet for this piece.
How Deep the Fathers Love – Performed by Ariana Jacobsen
This is a 16 person vocal ensemble where we laid down a foundational track and then recorded takes over many sections and edited them together to get a beautiful sound, also recorded in the Steadman auditorium for more rich harmonies.
Earth Song – Performed by The Rays, Conducted by Dave Ray-Hull
This song was a part of my senior recording project where I made a small album of music closer to the style I listen to often, I played a few of the parts myself but also fully produced and engineered the song as a whole.
Leggs – To The Cemetery
